This is where I develop a pattern language for commoning, within the foprop framework.

**Navigating within a lineup of pages** To go left or right within a page lineup, use left/right keys. To find the start of a wiki, click the coloured square (flag), top-left. To open a page to the right of the present page, replacing the current lineup, click a link. To open a page to the right of the lineup, retaining the present lineup, Shift-click the link. To open another wiki, click any flag anywhere in the lineup. To restore the lineup as it was before clicking a link, use the <Back> button in your browser.
The way fedwiki works is different from ordinary pages that we typically see in a web browser. The 'space' of a fedwiki is more complex than the typical hierarchical website - genuinely a hypertext space. At the same time, some of the means of navigating are not obvious: fedwiki is powerful but can confuse newcomers. Here we highlight some basic means, and some further insights into fedwiki.
